Summer Camp
Imani Family Life Center's Summer Camp is a camp for children ages 5 through 13 years of age. The program will run from June 6 through August 9 and will be divided in to two five-week sessions. The first five-week session will run from June 6 – July 8 and the second session will run July 11 – August 9, 2011. Hours of operation for the program are Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. The program is closed on official holidays (July 4th).
The Imani Summer Camp Program offers many features such as an indoor gymnasium with 2 official-sized basketball courts, 2 official-sized soccer fields, a baseball field, a library and a computer lab on the premises. Tutoring will also be available.
Since we will be taking several fieldtrips, there will be on average a $9.00 weekly fee.
Payment for camp must be made no later than the Friday before the week the child attends camp or the Monday of the week of camp. Your child can join camp in the middle of the week and will be assessed $16.00 per day until a full week can be assessed. Other than the starting week, Camp will be assessed in full weeks only.
The program is only open to the first 125 children and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Applications for the Imani Summer Camp are now being accepted. Applications must be submitted no later than May 20, 2011. A $20.00 registration fee is required and the registration fee will be applied to the cost for the first week of camp. Remember, only the first 125 children will be accepted in the program, so get your application in!!
