SCAPA presents "Into the Woods"

Thursday, March 29 at 7:00pm
Friday, March 30 at 8:00pm
Saturday, March 31 at 2:00pm & 8:00pm

Where else, but in a fractured fairy tale, would a childless couple discover that their condition is the result of a witch's curse and can only be reversed with a potion? This is the shocking news revealed to the Baker and his wife by their neighbor, the Witch. Furthermore, the ingredients for the potion happen to be a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood, hair as yellow as corn, and a slipper as pure as gold. And where are they to go to acquire these unique items? 'Into the woods' of course. Come along with some of your favorite, fairy tale characters as they pursue what they believe will allow them to live "happily ever after." Observe the lengths to which they are willing to go to get what they want. Watch as they reap the consequences of their actions and ultimately recognize the necessity for community responsibility. You may change your mind about the presumed innocence in the tales we tell our children.
