It's time to BUILD!

The purpose of BUILD (Building a United Interfaith Lexington through Direct Action) is to create a self-sustaining, interfaith, interracial, proactive organization, rooted in religious congregations, which is capable of creating system-wide, long-lasting change for low-to-moderate-income communities in Lexington/Fayette County, Kentucky.

This year's topics are:

Ex-Offenders, Recidivism and Re-entry
Affordable Housing
Economic Injustice - “Payday Lending”

BUILD will address these issues by confronting local politicians and officials in mass at the April 11 Nehemiah Action meeting. The goal is to have 1,775 Lexingtonians present to show their support for these issues.
