Since December of 2010, Lexington, KY has witnessed a spike in crime and a rash of homicides and shootings with the victims being young, African American males. If that isn't enough, we have people that have witnessed these crimes & refuse to speak out because of the perverted use of the "no snitching" mantra. On top of that, very few news outlets, politicians, athletes, and most importantly (because of our close ties to the s...treets) hip hop artists have not drawn these murders together to form a bigger picture & are not speaking out to OUR community about whats going on. Well The Devine Experience & Devassa will attempt to do our part in speaking out through ART!
The Devine Experience presents "Whats Going On?"

Date:Saturday May 21st
Time: 9pm-11

Let's come together that night and celebrate life & honor the dead. Let's uplift our community through the talents that God gave us. Let's pack Devassa out & show this city that we can come out in droves for something positive as well. Think about the tragedies in the last few weeks and just ask youself "Whats Going On?" And what do YOU intend on doing about it?
