Jack Kent Cooke Award: $50,000 for Grad School

The Graduate Arts Award enables students with exceptional artistic or creative promise and significant financial need to pursue up to three years of study at an accredited U.S. graduate institution.
Awards will be up to $50,000 per year for up to three years of study to fund tuition, room and board, required fees, and books.

To compete for the Graduate Arts Award a candidate must:

* Be a senior or recent graduate (within the last 5 years)
* Complete a bachelor’s degree prior to fall 2012
8 Plan to attend graduate school full-time in fall 2012 at an accredited institution
* Plan to pursue a graduate degree in the visual arts, performing arts, or creative writing
* Have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better on a 4.0 scale for all undergraduate coursework for all institutions attended
* Have unmet financial need
* Be nominated by the University of Kentucky
Applications should be complete by Wednesday, January 18, 2012.
