To Kill a Mockingbird

May 15 - 17, 2009

This American classic based upon Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize winning novel, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD is set in the rural American South during the Depression.

Two children watch as their principled father takes a stand against intolerance. Atticus Finch is a lawyer in a racially divided Alabama town in the 1930s. He agrees to defend a young black man who is accused of raping a white woman. Prejudice, racism, and human values are not issues of a particular time; they are issues of all time. Atticus teaches his children that you never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... until you climb into his skin and walk around in it. TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD audiences will experience a profoundly moving journey through this live performance.
