The University of Louisville Office of Admissions is pleased to invite you to our Eighth Annual NIA College Preparation Conference for African American and Hispanic/Latino high school juniors. The conference will take place on Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. EST (Check-in begins at 9 a.m.) at the Student Activities Center.
We will have workshops throughout the day such as:
•Recognizing Your Strengths through Education: Learn what tools are necessary to become prepared for college
•Paper Chasers: Find ways to finance your education through scholarships, grants, loans and student employment opportunties
•The Ultimate College Experience: Explore college student life and see how to take advantage of all that college has to offer
IN ADDITION..
•Enjoy lunch with current college students
•Participate in fun and interactive activities
•Tour a student residence hall, and more!
