Voices of Freedom

Agape Theatre Troupe’s VOICES OF FREEDOM is a black history montage of narratives, music and a short play, HARRIET TUBMAN VISITS A THERAPIST by Carolyn Gage. A celebration of the human spirit as well as a glimpse at some local history, VOICES OF FREEDOM offers entertainment and enlightenment for all ages. As always, Agape celebrates and showcases the unparalleled talents of local artists.

The cast includes Cathy Rawlings, Sylvia Howard, Vivian Lasley-Bibbs, Tiffiney Baker, Eryn Dailey-Demby, Deidre Darnell, Freida Vinegar and Angie Cummins.

Poet Nikky Finney lends her unique voice to VOICES OF FREEDOM in her first collaboration with Agape Theatre Troupe.

The show will be performed at the Lyric Theatre on Sat., Feb. 26 at 2 & 7 PM.
