Take a Class on the Creative Side

The University of Kentucky Fine Arts Institute invites you to take a class on the creative side. The institute returns again this fall with noncredit art classes for adults. There are a variety of courses and workshops being offered. Whether you have been crafting for years or have merely entertained the idea of exploring your own creative talents, there is a course for you.

All sorts of artistic interests can be discovered with the range of classes that are offered through the UK Fine Arts Institute housed at UK Department of Art. Courses are designed for everyone and all are encouraged to experience the opportunity to expand their creativity.

Currently, the UK Fine Arts Institute is offering 13 courses, five of which are geared toward beginners. Most classes are presented in the evenings and on weekends. The length and cost of each course varies.

Regular session for fall classes runs Sept. 12 to Nov. 11. While some classes have begun, there is still plenty of time to sign up for any of them. Registration for any courses or workshops presented by the UK Fine Arts Institute can be made possible by visiting
www.uky.edu/FineArts/Art/FineArtsInstitute/registration3.html or by contacting the institute at (859) 257-8151 or by email to jane.andrus@uky.edu.
